24 hours a week  (3 days per week. 08:00 am – 4:30 pm)

About the Post

We are seeking to appoint a confident, organised and friendly Admissions Officer to join our school administration team. This role includes leading our pupil admissions process, maintaining accurate records, communicating professionally with families, and supporting the wider administration of the school office, including reception duties. 
 
We are especially keen to appoint someone who will help us modernise and streamline our systems — confidence with digital tools and a proactive approach to paperless working are essential. If you are calm under pressure, ready to take initiative, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we would love to hear from you. 

A successful candidate will be: 

  • Have experience in administration, ideally within a school or customer-facing setting 

  • Be confident managing data, digital forms, and communications 

  • Provide a warm and professional point of contact for new and prospective families 

  • Be accurate, organised, and able to manage time and priorities effectively 

  • Communicate clearly, professionally and kindly with all members of the school community 

  • Be confident using a range of IT systems (we use Arbor, Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools) 

  • Be committed to developing and supporting efficient paperless systems 

  • Be flexible and willing to support other admin and reception duties as required

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. The Trust will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
