About the Post

We have a permanent vacancy for a Finance Officer to join our friendly school administration team. We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and solution-focused finance professional ideally with school experience. The role includes support to reception duties at busy times so the ability to work in a team and help parents is a must. Self-improvement is actively encouraged and we have a supportive culture of sharing best practice within our academy trust. If you feel like you would fit in, we would love to hear from you.

A successful candidate will be:

  • Comfortable working in a busy office environment with at least two years’ experience of financial administration
  • Able to deliver high quality finance administration (including support to audit) for our school
  • Highly numerate and accurate
  • Happy establishing great professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • An effective communicator (both verbally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
  • Organised and able to manage/re-prioritise varied tasks as necessary
  • Confident to navigate interlinked finance and school IT systems
