A letter from Bear Island!

Year 3 have started reading their new book called 'The Last Bear' by Hannah Gold. Last week, the children were very surprised to have a knock at the door from Mrs Gibson who told us that we had received a letter from the main character, April.
In the letter, April wrote to the children to ask them to do some research on her new home, Bear Island. We quickly got the laptops out and started to learn all about the wonderful Bear Island in terms of its climate, history and geography.
We now know so much about this beautiful island and cannot wait to read more of April's adventures!
