The children in EYFS loved receiving a package from the Royal Horticultural Society as part of their 'Grow With It' initiative. We have planted a selection of flowers, vegetables and herbs. We spoke about what plants need to grow and then prepared small pots with soil inside. We looked at all the different seeds and discovered that the seeds may be different colours or shapes. The children made sure that the seeds were in the sunlight and would be watered regularly for plant growth.
