Lulworth Cove
Year 3 were lucky enough to spend a sunny Thursday at Lulworth Cove. Read on to find out what we got up to!
Last week, we had the opportunity to explore Lulworth Cove to finish our topic on Rocks and Rivers. We had a fantastic time learning all about the different types of rock that makes up Lulworth and the different formations such as Stair Hole. The children particularly loved going fossil hunting on the beach which resulted in a few magnificent finds.
We were very thankful to have some brilliant rangers who showed us around the local area and explained all the history and geography of the cove. Here are some pictures of our lovely sunny day at Lulworth Cove.
