Year 2 and Year 4 Survival Project Outcome Day!
Year 2 and Year 4 came together for their Survival project outcome, sharing their learning together in a variety of different activities! We had some wonderful outfits from both children and adults!
The children were mixed in groups of Year 2 and Year 4, which was lovely to see the children working together across different year groups - and some siblings too!
Throughout the day, the children had the opportunity to take part in a variety of different activities:
Mr Parsons and Mrs Chadd ran a den/tent building activity, in which they were tested for water resistance!
Miss Perry and Mr Dodd ran some forest school activities. Year 2 loved being able to apply their skills learnt in Forest School during this activity. It was great for Year 4 to have a taste of what to expect after half term too!
Mrs Jacobs taught the children about first aid, where they learnt how to tie bandages and also put people into the recovery position.
Miss Lunn and Mrs Stopler cooked up a delicious vegetable soup with the children preparing the vegetables. It's safe to say the classroom still smells like soup!
All the children had such a wonderful day and lots of new skills were learnt!
