Cross Country Competition Success!
On Thursday 9th October, 19 children from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in a cross country competition at Kings Park against many other schools in the local area. The children all did fantastically and should all be very proud of themselves and their results!
Hundreds of children took part in each of the different year group events across the schools competing and we had some excellent results!
In Year 4, Rory came 1st out of all the other Year 4 children competing! We haven't had a child at St James come first in over 11 years! Edward, Alfie, Eric and Edward also all did brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed taking part and representing the school.
In Year 5, Lennox came 2nd out of all the Year 5 children competing! Felix, George and Freddie all came within the top 10 too and Felix, Noah, Teddy, Sofia and Connie again all did an amazing job!
In Year 6, Finley came 3rd out of all the Year 6 children competing. Harvey, Archie, Kaya and Marika all came within the top 30 too with Kaya and Marika placing 3rd and 4th for the girls!
All in all, it was a fantastic day for St James and all the children who took part should feel very proud of all that they achieved!
